2020 Airstream Interstate

For 2020 The Airstream Interstate has recived a makeover with a new chassis, interior décors, and more.
Sprinter VS30 chassis
The Mercedes Benz Sprinter VS30 chassis has been completely redesigned for 2020. It features a fuel efficient 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine with 188hp and 325 lb-ft of torque, a perfect blend of power and fuel efficiency. Standard features include an array of driver assist systems such as Blind spot assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, and Active Brake Assist, and much more.
MBUX Infotainment System
The MBUX Infotainment system is all new for 2020. The MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) has many innovative features such as touchscreen, wireless charging, USB connections, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, GPS navigation, and more. In addition to touching the screen, you can pinch, swipe, and use other motions just like your smartphone.
This new system is similar to what you will find in a Mercedes-Benz E-Class car, the MBUX features voice control. Simply say “Hey Mercedes” and you can control a number of functions, ranging from the navigation system, radio, climate control, and more.
Interior
When you first step inside the 2020 Interstate you’ll notice a completely redesigned cab area. The ultra-modern design features carbon fiber dash accents, leather steering wheel with controls, and new digital instrument cluster. The driver and passenger seats now feature power controls compared to the previous year model. The seats also have the ability to swivel and many other adjustments to make long trips comfortable. The 2020 Interstate now features an automatic power sliding door for ease of entry, open and close with the simple push of a button. There are 5 interior décor options available, they include Modern Greige, Refined Brown, Formal Black, Lux White, and the island themed Tommy Bahama.
Exterior
When looking at the exterior of the 2020 Airstream Interstate you’ll notice a completely redesigned body. The new Airstream Body Kit Design has over 40 exclusive tooled components including front Airstream badging to create a sleek and stylish design. The Interstate is available in Artic White, Jet Black, and Iridium Silver exterior color options.
Floorplans
The Airstream is currently offered in a Lounge EXT, Grand Tour EXT, and Nineteen floorplans. Both the Lounge and Grand Tour floorplans are built on the Sprinter 3500 chassis with 170″ wheelbase while the Interstate Nineteen is on a 2500 chassis and 144″ wheelbase. The Interstate Nineteen is a great option if you are looking for all the same amenities but in a smaller, more nimble package.
Tommy Bahama Edition
Airstream and Tommy Bahama have come together to create an enticing interior space of relaxed sophistication, with no detail left unattended. The interior of the Tommy Bahama edition has a laid back island feel to it with Tan Ultraleather seating, Matte-finish Wood Cabinetry, and island-themed accent pillows. The party follows you wherever you go in the Interstate Tommy Bahama with a built-in rack to display your wine and spirits. Plus, you have plenty of counter space to set out your favorite mixers, and all the appliances you need to whip up some snacks for everyone. The Tommy Bahama Edition is available in both Grand Tour and Lounge floorplans.
