In the past, the rear hatch was only available on special edition Airstreams like the Tommy Bahama and Eddie Bauer editions. But starting in 2020, the rear hatch became an available option on both the 27FB Flying Cloud and the 27FB International Serenity.

27FBQ Flying Cloud & International Serenity
The rear hatch is available exclusively on the 27FBQ floorplans in the Flying Cloud and International Serenity lines. Each hatch comes with a pull-down bug screen, so you can open the rear of the trailer and still enjoy a meal or relax at the dinette—without letting bugs in.
