Airstream Caravel
For 2020, Airstream has introduced an all-new model named the “Caravel.” If you are familiar with Airstream history, you may recognize this name from the 1950s and 1960s. The new Caravel is quite different from the original but still maintains the timeless design that Airstream is known for.
Floorplans
The 2020 Airstream Caravel is available in four floorplans: 16RB, 19CB, 20FB, and 22FB. This variety ensures you have everything you need, arranged in a smart and efficient layout.
Interior
The Caravel features a modern upscale design with luxurious new features from Airstream.
Interior décor options include ‘Pewter’ or ‘Tungsten’ Fusion Ultraleather fabrics combined with ‘Autumn Night’ wood. Features include all-new touch dimmer light switches, a JL Stereo with Bluetooth, and a ducted air system.
Galley:
The galley includes a stainless steel sink, Moen faucet, a 3-burner gas cooktop (2-burner on 16’ & 19’), and an optional microwave upgrade.
Bedroom:
Each master bed features a pillow-top memory foam mattress.
16RB & 20FB: 48″ x 78″
19CB: 48″ x 76″
22FB: 54″ x 80″
Additional features include USB ports, 110V outlets, LED reading lights, and a convertible dinette for extra sleeping space.
Bathroom:
All floorplans have a shower and toilet. The 16RB lacks a lavy sink and Moen faucet, which are included in the others.
Exterior
Compact and lightweight, the Caravel can be towed by a mid-size SUV. Exterior highlights include 15″ stylized aluminum wheels, stainless steel front stone guards, Thule aluminum entry step, power tongue jack, and a Zip Dee patio awning with Sunbrella fabric. Optional rear and roadside awning packages are available.
