Airstream Bambi

For years the name Bambi has been a nickname for the smallest single-axle Airstream trailers. For 2020 Bambi has replaced the popular Sport model and is now its own official family of travel trailers. The 2020 Bambi is very similar to the Sport but with a few upgrades to an already great travel trailer.

Floorplans

The 2020 Airstream Bambi is light enough to tow with an SUV, easy to maneuver, and easy to fit into smaller campground spots. The Bambi is available in 4 floorplan options including a 16RB, 19CB, 20FB, and 22FB.

Interior

The interior of the Bambi is very similar to the Sport but with a few updates. The first thing you will notice is the updated interior decors. The Bambi is available in two decor options, Dune and Ocean. The Dune decor with its light greys and warm whites is a great neutral platform to add your own touch. The Ocean Decor is very similar but with Deep Navy color seating.

Performatex ® Fabric

The previous Sport models came standard with Ultaleather seating but for 2020 the Bambi now comes with a Performatex ® Fabric. The Performatex ® fabric is made of recycled fiber that’s easy to clean and resistant to fading, fire, and repeated use.

Overhead Storage

If you are familiar with the overhead storage compartments on the Sport model, you know the Tambour doors can be tricky. The doors on the 2020 Bambi have been redesigned to now slide in a groove instead of rolling up, all while maintaining the same looking design. This makes opening and closing the doors easier and avoids any chance of them binding up.

Bedroom

Relax and unwind after a long day in the Bambi. You’ll be sure to sleep soundly thanks to the pillow-top memory foam mattress. The 16RB and 20FB floorplans both have a bed that measures 48″ x 78″. The 19CB floorplan features a corner bed measuring 48″ x 76″ and the 22FB has the largest bed measuring 54″ x 80″. All floorplans also feature a folding dinette to provide additional sleeping accommodations. Other bedroom features include under bed storage, LED reading lights, and LED HD TV.

Bathroom

Each floorplan includes a fully equipped bathroom with a shower and toilet. Additional features include a bathroom roof vent with powered fan, lavy sink, and Moen Faucet (not available in 16RB).

Exterior

The Bambi is the perfect compact, lightweight travel trailer that can easily be towed with a mid-size SUV. You’ll enjoy all the benefits of the Airstream design with its lower center of gravity, weight distribution, and aerodynamic aluminum shell.

A manual Zip Dee patio awning with heavy-duty Weathermax® Fabric comes standard, as well as an optional rear and roadside awning package.

Other standard features include a Wireless backup camera, Stylized Aluminum Wheels, and Nev-R-Adjust® Brakes. The Bambi also features a standard exterior shower with hot and cold water, perfect to wash off your gear or yourself before stepping back inside your trailer.
