The Mercedes-Benz features a more powerful engine producing 188 hp and 325 lb.- ft. of torque.
The powerful engine is also cleaner, by implementing Mercedes-Benz’s innovative Blue Tec SCR diesel Technology, once pollutant nitrogen oxides emissions are now converted into harmless nitrogen and water. Exhaust gasses flow through a catalytic converter, where they are mixed with a water-based diesel exhaust fluid then converted into harmless nitrogen and water.
